JOIN THE CULTURE CARE LANDSCAPING TEAM ON THE COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR WALK
February 20th 2019
Culture Care Landscaping is a Kamloops company working year round on landscaping, irrigation, yard and ground maintenance, and snow removal to keep our community safe and beautiful. It is our priority to keep pedestrian and vehicle surfaces as safe and accessible as possible.
It is important to Culture Care to keep our crew busy, and you will likely recognize our well-marked vehicles out there plowing snow, removing & relocating snow, shoveling snow...did we mention de-icing pedestrian and vehicle surfaces also?
Apart from Snow Removal, what is Culture Care up to this Winter?
Bundle up on February 23, 2019 and join the enthusiastic Culture Care Landscaping team in the Coldest Night of the Year walk to raise funds for the Kamloops Mustard Seed New Life Community, an organization serving those folks in our community who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, hungry, or hurting.
We would love to have you join our team for this walk! If you are not able to make it out for the walk, yet still want to support the fundraiser, please make a pledge or donation.
Team members who do plan to make it out can choose to walk 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km along routes that will be clearly marked with CNOY signage, staffed by volunteers, and include rest stops with snacks along the way.
For those registering on the event day, February 23, please arrive at 4PM (registration closes at 6). There will be opening ceremonies at 5PM at the Mustard Seed, 181 Victoria Street West, Kamloops, and the walk begins at 5:15 along clearly marked routes. The event wraps up at 8 PM. What a difference four hours of your time will make!
The Coldest Night of the Year is a Canada-wide event with a goal of raising $5,000,000 in 2019. As of today, over $3,000,000 has been raised across the country! The CNOY goal in Kamloops is to raise $42,000 and we are presently nearing the $15,000 mark!
How to Get Involved in the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser
There are various ways to contribute to this event, by registering a team, pledging, making a donation, and/or volunteering. All of the monies raised by Kamloopsians will be forwarded to the local Mustard Seed new Life Community, to be used for the cause of easing the conditions of our target population, especially in the coldest time of year.
Come walk with Culture Care Landscaping to support Coldest Night of the Year in Kamloops and help our team "thrash the competition for a good cause!" There is no limit to the number of people on our team, and we invite friends, family, our Culture Care Landscaping clients and co-workers to join up and show strong support for this valuable fundraiser.
